take the heat
lift my hand
run my feet
hit it
fit it
run seconds
out hours
in wind
zip sky
up and out
take it in
a slow thought
down a dark river
where the song
melts in waves
and you’re the dream
floating
through my night
swaying
under stars
and back
to shift
through days
slip in
out again
