The Quotable

Fast Beat

take the heat

lift my hand

run my feet

hit it

fit it

run  seconds

out hours

in wind

zip sky

up and out

take it in

a slow thought

down a dark river

where the song

melts in waves

and you’re the dream

floating

through my night

swaying

under stars

and back

to shift

through days

slip in

out again
